Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Manager to lead our QA automation efforts for cutting-edge ML/LLM-based agentic solutions and data analytics products. This role is crucial for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python-based automation frameworks, SQL, API and functional testing, and experience managing and enhancing in-house test automation frameworks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python for automation and test development.
- Hands-on experience with pytest, Selenium, and Playwright.
- Expertise in API testing (automation) and integrating API tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong SQL skills for database testing and data validation in analytics workflows.
- Solid understanding of functional and regression testing processes and tools.
- Framework Expertise:
- Experience maintaining and upgrading custom test automation frameworks.
- Ability to design test automation strategies for ML/LLM-based solutions and data analytics products.
- Additional Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation Strategy & Planning:
- Define and implement test automation strategies for ML/LLM-based agentic solutions, data analytics products, and customer-specific customizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation coverage with business and customer requirements.
- Framework Maintenance & Development:
- Maintain and enhance the existing in-house test automation framework.
- Optimize the framework for scalability, performance, and integration with ML/LLM and data analytics pipelines.
- Test Script Development & Maintenance:
- Develop, maintain, and review automated test scripts for functional, regression, and API testing, including SQL-based data validation.
- Ensure test scripts remain up-to-date with evolving product features.
- Testing Expertise:
- Lead automation for functional, regression, and API testing across web applications, ML pipelines, and data analytics solutions.
- Design and implement robust testing strategies for data-intensive applications.
- Team Leadership:
- Mentor and guide junior QA automation engineers in adopting best practices for testing ML/LLM and data-centric applications.
- Foster a collaborative environment to enhance the overall quality assurance process.
- Quality Ownership:
- Own the end-to-end quality assurance process, ensuring robust testing for scalable ML/LLM solutions.
- Provide detailed test reports, metrics, and actionable insights to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 + years of experience in QA Automation, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing test automation for ML/LLM and data analytics solutions.
- Experience working in Agile environments with diverse, cross-functional teams.
